More Than Alot is the debut album by Chase & Status. It debuted in the UK album charts at number 49 on 19 October 2008 and entered the UK dance album chart at number 2. It was preceded the week before by the release of the single “Pieces” featuring vocals by Plan B. On 5 October 2008, this made number 70 on the national singles chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart.

It’s a bit of a fallacy that chase & status have just come on the scene from nowhere as ive been listerning to them since 1996 when they was on Renegade Hardware Records.

since then they’ve move to it’s sister label – barcode which offers a more darker side of drum & bass often called tech-step/skullstep or even neurofunk which use industrial techno beats layered with a 4/4 jungle breakbeat & the heaviest/grimiest basslines Ever. When they became noticed by the legendary Andy C at a Therapy Sessions Party At the Herbel night club In London he then swiftly signed them up to his label Ram Records to produce this masterpiece.

This album contains everything from grime to dubstep to full on rave up tracks of “take me away” & “hurt you”
